Verde&nbsp;Libre Coffee
In 2015, John and Aida visited Colombia. There, they met Walter and Yanxia, a couple who are dedicated to caring for children in need. Inspired by their work, John and Aida provided support to assist Walter and Yanxia in establishing what is now known as Verde Libre Coffee in 2016. Over seven years, the farm grew from 1,000 to 12,000 plants, supporting 20-23 children and producing thousands of pounds of coffee. Each Verde Libre Coffee Bean signifies hope for the children of Fundación Pacto Belen.&nbsp;

Company History – Background on the owners
Our founder John Gravlee was introduced to the hospitality industry in the late 1960s at the idyllic location of Hilton Head in South Carolina, owned at that time by real estate developer Charles E. Fraser. Spending summer breaks at the Hilton Head Inn at 16 was mesmerizing. Playing drums in a small band in the evenings left the days free to enjoy the hotel, guests, palm trees, and beach. The Inn has since been replaced but the incredible beach is still enticing patrons with its never-ending hypnotizing waves, just as it did thousands of years ago when the Native Americans seasonally occupied the island. Today those same sandy shores find our commercial outdoor furniture providing guests with wonderful experiences of leisure and relaxation just as it has been for decades.
The experience at Hilton Head set John toward a lifetime of working in the hospitality industry and this led to a 15 year career furnishing hotels and apartments in the Rocky Mountains of Denver, CO. Over those 15 years John found a deep appreciation for our nation's amazing national parks by spending time in the snowy wonderlands and mountain streams of Rocky Mountain National Park, Trout fishing on the Colorado river and four wheeling over 12,000 foot mountain passes. Days in these locations gave him an appreciation of the role commercial outdoor furniture plays in making our day an enjoyable one. What could be better than sitting around a well placed picnic table with the family after a long day of fishing?

John and Aida met in 1998 and it was love at first sight! John's 30 years of experience in the Hospitality Furnishings industry and Aida's 25 years of experience in sales and customer service created a perfect starting point for Furniture Leisure which was founded upon a strong commitment to each other, their family, and their customers! Now years later we continue to work together to serve our customers with the same dedication to customer satisfaction that we began with.
Our interest in the Furniture Leisure Industry goes back many years as you can see. Our family is seen here as Grandma is enjoying a leisurely afternoon on an Adirondack chair with Dr. Joe and the kids.

The kids, now 78 years young, are decked out on a vintage wood chaise lounge. Today we feature Adirondack chairs and chaise lounges made from eco-friendly recycled plastic. Our Telescope folding sling chaise lounges even sport a canopy for shade! Some things never change.
